A Life, a Blog, a Radio Show

Spontaneous, easily distracted, impulsive, afraid of being bored (and hungry). Sounds like the description of Adult ADHD, but they are just a few of the words I'd use to describe myself (for the record, no I don't have ADHD—although I suspect my father does). I enjoy these attributes in myself, but they can also be a hindrance. They hold me back from planning and committing to plan, scheduling things and remembering to check my schedule.

I'd rather go with the flow, play it as it lays, or as one of my previous bosses always used to say, "just do whatever in whatever kind of way."

This blog embraces that tendency to chase whatever squirrel crosses my path, a la Homer Simpson (I'm like him in more ways than one). I will explore the zany ideas that pop into my head and take up residence for a minute, an afternoon, a day or two.

Sometimes that exploration will take the form of a single post, other times it may take the form of an entire blog.

I think the person who will appreciate this site most is my wife, because if I'm committing every detour of mind to the screen, I won't be scrambling her brain and plans with my constant stream of daydreams.
